Make an Impact on Boxing Week

Ten Thousand Villages in Ottawa is proud to be having an alternative Boxing Week special.  For the second year in a row, both stores in Ottawa will donate 10% of our sales from December 27-31st to Bruce House. 

Working with Bruce House is both a privilege and an honour for us.  Many of our artisan groups work with individuals living with HIV/AIDS, and they require many of the same things that Bruce House provides in Ottawa.  We believe that no matter where you live, you deserve to live a life of dignity.   Partnering with Bruce House for a Boxing Week Special like this one, allows us to make many of these global connections and little closer for our customers and volunteers. 

While many around the world were taking action to recognize World AIDS Day on December 1st, we were planning on continuing this partnership with Bruce House. 

Please consider coming by the stores between December 27th - 31st and picking up a bag of coffee, a handicraft or a new piece of jewellery.  Not only will you be supporting artisans from the around the world with a Fair Trade purchase but you will also be supporting Bruce House achieve their mission in Ottawa.
